Job Overview

This is a rare opportunity for those loving the food industry – but not the late night hours. Do you have experience as a restaurant host or server? Are you interested in pursuing a food industry career? Our Field Associate position is your answer. The Field Associate works in our state of the art facility in Plymouth, MN. This is a part-time job (day time hours) with an hourly rate of $13.00.

Hours average around 29 per week. It is a rotating schedule. There is some Paid Time Off associated with this position.

As the Field Associate in our Food Solutions group you will train as a server, host, kitchen aid and moderator for our studies within our Consumer Testing group. Each role has specific responsibilities during a study but your primary goal is working together as a team for the overall successful completion of the assigned study. A successful study would be one that you ensured was defect-free, completed on time with successful data delivery, and, when possible, exceed clients’ expectations.

As a Field Associate you will be a server, a host, a kitchen aid and moderator for our food studies. As a vital team member, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of the assigned studies and support, mentor, and challenge each other continuously.

We are looking for the following skills:

  • Extraordinary attention to detail.

  • Critical thinking and your ability to tackle problems quickly and efficiently

  • Awesome interpersonal skills to interact with the public and our Food Perspectives clients.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate the computer easily.

There is some flexibility in regard to scheduling – some days there will be long hours. You will also travel to multiple test sites throughout the Twin Cities area.

Education/Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution; one to two years of related experience and/or training and Safe Serve certified preferred
