Research Associate II - Flow Cytometry
This is an exciting time to join our new and growing Global Immunology & Imunotoxicology department as a Research Associate II . Position is located in Madison, WI. Relocation Package Available.
As a Research Associate II, your contributions will make a lasting impact in early stage drug development and biologics. Make use of your leadership and assay validation skills by joining our team of scientists! Expert level flow cytometry skills are a must.
Meet the team -
In this role you will...
Develops technical procedures in various areas in compliance with appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
Represents supervisors pertaining to technical matters involved with Validation.
Understands and interprets complex protocols and validation plans.
Assist in evaluation of data for incorporation into written reports.
Participate in corrective action of any problems and/or deviations that may affect integrity of data.
Set up and perform method development, validation and transfer of various Immunotoxicology assays under the guidance of Technical Leader or supervisor.
Perform complex immunotoxicology asssays using unfamiliar or new methods, organizng and analysing the results.
Provide input and participate in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work.
Participate in client visits as needed, assists in communicating technical information.
Effectively plans and utilizes personnel and resources for timely completion of assigned projects.
Be aware of appropriate regulation guidelines for PD, PK TK etc
Participate in the introduction of new techniques, methodologies and relevant procedures in collaboration with other Senior Managers.

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Life Science. Experience may substitute for education
6-10 years related or relevant laboratory experience required
Skilled in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports.
Experience and knowledge of relevant instrumentation.
Some experience in performing scientific presentation and preparing scientific publications.
Prior experience in I&I procedures, method development, and validation preferred.
Knowledge of GLPs and regulatory agencies is required.
Ability to interact effectively with all staff and management levels.
Problem solving and decision making skills.
Strong English writing and communication skills
