Maintnenance Technician IV
To perform corrective and preventive maintenance work orders related to the Environmental Monitoring and Control System. To perform the sole operation of all systems related equipment. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on all systems related equipment.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of corrective and preventive work orders.
Monitor the Environmental Monitoring and Control System.
Perform the installation, repair and troubleshooting of all Environmental Monitoring and Control System components.
Operate, repair, maintain and troubleshoot all systems related equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps and compressors and electrical components.
Install, troubleshoot, repair and make or recommend solutions to all mechanical and electrical systems.
Assists supervisor in overseeing major installation or repair projects.
Coaches and advises less experienced staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
Interacts professionally with facility staff as well as customers.
Other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
College or trade school courses in HVAC and Stationary Engineering.
Ability to obtain local Third Class Engineering License.
Ability to obtain Building Operators License.
Ability to obtain CFC Universal or I License.
Ability to obtain other applicable licenses.
Certified Electrical Journeyman.
7+ years of experience as an operating engineer or certified electrical journeyman
Ability to use MS Office at an intermediate level.
