Based on continued growth! Senior Scientist Immunoassay Development, Denver PA

We are looking for a Senior Scientist to work as the hands on technical subject matter expert in immunoassay development and validation. In this role you'll supply support to the Antibody Reagents and Vaccines team. The overall focus of work is executing antibody production and generation, produce critical regents including polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies and participate in immunogenicity studies. Additional duties include but not limited to

  • Management, development and execution of cell-based high-throughput screening (HTS) assays

  • Development of novel high-throughput enzyme immunoassays

  • Develop and validate/qualify immunoassays for all therapeutic areas

  • Prepare appropriate protocols and reports for all phases of immunoassays and sample analysis.

  • Collaborate with project teams on the implementation of assays.

  • Independently apply basic scientific principles, perform literature searches and keep abreast of literature in the Immunoassay field.

  • Closely review method development, validation/qualification data and draw logical conclusions.

  • Thoroughly analyze results and methods, solve analytical problems, and troubleshoot assays.

  • Develop and propose novel strategies and bring in new technologies for implementation and drive revenue growth

  • Learn to identify problems, determine appropriate actions and implement solutions with support as appropriate

  • Interacts with internal (Covance/ LabCorp) and external clients.

  • Provide update of project status at periodic project review meetings.

This is full time position with excellent benefits including 24 days of PTO in the first 12 months!


Master of Science (MS) degree or Ph.D. in Molecular or Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry, or similar education with minimum of 2+ years of industry Immunoassay Development experience. OR Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Immunoassay Development preferred.

2+ years of experience working with primary cell cultures and technical experience with cellular/molecular biology and immunology assays


Hands-on technical experience with cellular/molecular biology and immunology assays ELISA

Excellent laboratory/bench skills, with previous experience independently and collaboratively designing, executing and interpreting the results of analytical assays

Prior experience working in a CRO preferred by not required.

2+ years of experienced in the management, development and execution of cell-based high-throughput screening (HTS) assay
